// START · CLAUDE SKILL
Run the Viability Sprint in Claude.
Add the skill to your Claude account once, then describe your product idea whenever you’re ready. It asks the same five questions as the ChatGPT version and finishes with a Specification and a Viability Report that are yours to keep.

Set it up in four steps.
HOW-TO · ONE-OFF SETUPBit of background. The Viability Sprint has always run inside ChatGPT, but plenty of people do their thinking in Claude, so the same sprint is now packaged as a Claude skill as well. You set it up once and it stays in your account from then on.
As with the ChatGPT version, what comes out is a first-pass draft for you to build on, not engineering advice.
A quick way to start.
PROMPT · COPY AND PASTERun a Viability Sprint on my product idea: [one line about it] Put your one line in place of the brackets and the sprint picks up from there.
Questions about the Claude version.
FAQ · CLAUDE SKILLIs my idea safe?
Innovate Engineer can’t see your conversation, it stays in your own Claude account. How Anthropic handles it is set by your Claude privacy settings, so have a look at those if it matters to you.
What’s in the download?
A folder with one instruction file and seven reference files, all plain text and readable in any text editor. There’s no code in it. Where a next step matches part of the process, the sprint links it to the matching page on our wiki.
Does it cost anything?
There’s no fee from us. It runs on your own Claude account, so your plan’s usual limits apply, and Anthropic lists skills as available on every Claude plan, the free one included.
Can I still use ChatGPT?
Yes, the start page has the ChatGPT route.
How do I update it?
When a new version goes up here, delete the old skill in Customize, then Skills, and upload the new ZIP the same way.

Got an idea to put through it?
The Specification and Viability Report are yours either way, to refine yourself or take to any design or engineering practice. If you’d like an engineer to look over them first, the Engineer-Verified Review is on the services page.
